In the early morning of Wednesday, June 17, 2015, Telus have scheduled maintenance work on some of their network infrastructure components through which much of our traffic passes. This means that many of our customers will lose connectivity for some time during that period. The “Outage per Circuit” is the actual time that a particular circuit is likely to be down within that four hour window – some customers may be affected by two such outages.
Supernet customers and colocation customers should not be affected because they will take the alternate route to the Internet from our network core. Most other customers including DSL, bonded DSL and fibre will suffer some outage during this time.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but in the long term this should improve the reliability of the Telus infrastructure which serves us all.
